2018 was a good year. I got to capture some unique and amazing love stories and had so much fun along the way. Seriously it just keeps getting better and better which means 2019 is going to be an epic year.

So a quick little year end review. My favorite couple portraits, a much more difficult feat than one would thing to pick just ONE from each wedding, some of my favorite details from throughout the year and a peek into what’s to come next year.

Ever season had it’s moment to shine in a wedding. Epic cold winter days, amazing fall foliage, rainy spring days and even a perfect Colorado day in May was experienced. I have to say this year was one of the weirdest weather years, fall skipped out early, probably on a beach somewhere drinking mojitos. June was one of the rainiest to date but completely epic nonetheless.

Can we talk about these details though? Florals, cakes and rings oh my!!! I seriously had so many favorites but had to narrow it down to just a few.

I have to say that this year the florals were out of this world. And check out the winter arrangement done by KD Floral for Callie and Travis’s wedding?? A winter proof bouquet just for the outdoor portraits. Seriously, genius and STUNNING.

One of my favorite parts of the day along with the details is the first look with the bride and groom. So of course I had to pick a few of my favorites from this year to share!

And of course we have the reception and all of the amazing bridesmaids and groomsmen. OH and this year we had some of the most adorable small children take part in the weddings!

I wish I could just reshare all of my favorites from every wedding, but that might take awhile for you to scroll through…I’m a bit heavy handed on the fave selection from each wedding, too much amazingness to not share as much as possible!

2018 you have been amazing. 2019, the bar has been set but I know you’ll be epic. I’ve already had the opportunity to work with several of my couples from 2019 and they are all amazing, seriously I have the best clients.
