The 11,329th day of your marriage could be a tough one. Maybe he didn't unload the dishwasher when you asked or maybe you burned dinner. Sitting on opposite ends of the couch, zoned out on the current Netflix binge, that spark, that flutter in your stomach just isn't there. Then you see it, out of the corner of your eye, photos from your wedding on your wall. The laughter can be heard, the tears almost real and that emotion, that love comes flooding back. That is the power of photography.
Super cheesey, right? I'm a total closet cheese lover but this is where get to the real talk, the nitty gritty, about why wedding photography is my absolute fave.
Think about it. You are going to spend the rest of your life with this person, and it's not always going to be sunshine and rainbows (although I have friends that are seriously adorable all the time but I love them for it) even so, you're going to fight, you're going to not like each other, and things could get hard. So my philosophy is that we use the authentic, the real and the imperfect on your wedding day to help remind you on those hard days what you're fighting for. Your wedding day is supposed to be one of the best days of your life, you want to remember that forever and I want you to remember those feelings forever. I focus on the connections, the love and the emotion, and I try not to get too sappy while I do it.
