A camp couple through and through, the Pearsons met because of the Scouts. They picked Camp Wilderness as the location for their wedding because it holds deep sentimental value to them. In fact, it’s near and dear to all of us! I worked there, my husband worked there, and most of the groomsmen in this wedding all worked there, in addition to the bride and groom. Talk about having a special place to get married and an honor to document it! Camp Wilderness IS family.
Choosing to get married at Camp Wilderness was a very fun and personal decision. Their ceremony was set on the backdrop of tall pine trees and a classic Minnesota feel. All their wedding photos had a cozy, camp energy to them that I just loved! Camp weddings are some of my favorites.
This wedding was another 2020 Covid reschedule postponed to 2021, but the wait was well worth it! While it’s made for a busy year, I’ve done my best to work around Covid reschedules and make sure my couples have had the best possible experience.
There was so much to love about this wedding, but one of my favorite things was when they included their cute puppy! You’ve always got my approval to bring a dog to your photo session or wedding!
The reception was a hoot and hollering good time! Their dance was wild and so much fun! Their people had so much energy and brought tons of personality to the dancefloor and the day as a whole. This sweet couple kept things simple but had the very best time. It goes to show that only you can decide how you want your wedding to be.
