This Legacy Acres wedding mixes the best of a Catholic church wedding and a barn celebration, all for the sweetest couple! This day was so much fun and I’m so excited to share it with you!
To start off the festivities, the best man decided about a week before the wedding to prank the groom with a fake first look. He thrifted a wedding dress, got a wig, and even did his makeup to punk the groom! Talk about going all in for a joke! It was the most hilarious thing and was a highlight of their day.
Another more emotional and sentimental highlight was Kristin’s dress. She wore the same dress her grandmother and mother both wore on their wedding days, dating back to 1957. As a special request, we took photos at the Trail County Museum – recreating a photograph Kristin has of her mother. Wearing your mother’s wedding dress is such a special thing and how much more special for it to be passed down for generations!
Legacy Acres did an amazing job of decorating and running the reception. They were truly excellent and put so much time, effort, and care into every part of the day. The reception was a blast! They did a copy cat kiss and had trivia for hilarious prizes. Their DJ Cody from Take the Leap went above and beyond.
